Why convert JPG to PDF
Photos of a passport, receipts, certificates or handwritten pages are not accepted everywhere: portals, accountants and email usually expect a PDF. The converter gathers JPG pictures into one document — every photo becomes a page, in the order you set. The images are neither recompressed nor cropped, so the document looks exactly like the source files. With an account you can switch on text recognition and make the PDF searchable.
How to turn JPG into PDF
- 1
Upload the photos — drop several at once or pick them from your device.
- 2
Arrange the pictures in the order you want by dragging.
- 3
Switch on text recognition (OCR) if you like — available with a free account.
- 4
Click Convert and download the PDF.
What the converter does
Several photos, one PDF
Upload the whole batch and the pictures become pages of a single document.
Your order
Drag the file cards and the pages land in the document in exactly that order.
No recompression
Photos are embedded as they are, at their original resolution and quality.
Page sized to the photo
Every page matches the proportions of its picture — no white margins, no cropping.
Not just JPG
PNG, GIF and WebP can go into the same document alongside JPG.
Text recognition
With an account, OCR adds an invisible text layer so the PDF can be searched and copied.
No sign-up
Basic conversion works right away; an account is only needed for OCR and higher limits.
Files are not kept
Your photos and the result are deleted from the server automatically after an hour.
When you need it
A PDF made of photos is asked for wherever loose pictures will not do:
- phone scans of documents must be submitted as one file;
- receipts for an expense report have to sit in a single PDF;
- handwritten notes or homework go to a teacher;
- a portfolio or a set of pictures is easier to show as a document;
- a web form only accepts PDF.
Which images work
The main format is JPG and JPEG — photos from a phone or camera. You can add PNG, GIF and WebP alongside them: they are embedded as they are, and where PDF has no native support for a format the converter re-encodes the image carefully with no visible loss. HEIC photos from an iPhone should be saved as JPG first.
File size and text
The finished PDF weighs about as much as the source photos together — the converter compresses nothing. If the document turns out heavy, run it through Compress PDF. Without OCR the pages remain pictures: text on them cannot be selected or searched. Switch recognition on and an invisible text layer in English and Russian appears under the image.
