Why rotate a PDF
A scan came out sideways, a photographed document is upside down, one page of a landscape report is portrait — reading that is a pain, and Rotate View in a viewer saves nothing. This tool writes the rotation into the file itself: open the PDF, turn the pages you need or all of them, download — and they open the right way up in any program on any device.
How to rotate a PDF
- 1
Upload the PDF — the pages appear as thumbnails.
- 2
Turn a single page with the arrows on it, or all pages with the All right and All left buttons.
- 3
Check the result on the thumbnails — they already show the pages rotated.
- 4
Click Rotate and download the corrected PDF.
What rotation does here
Any angle
Two clicks make 180°, three make 270°; every page turns independently.
All pages at once
All right and All left straighten the whole document in one move.
Mirroring
A horizontally flipped scan or slide can be turned back the right way.
Saved for good
The rotation goes into the file, not just the viewer — the result is the same in every program.
No quality loss
Pages are not redrawn: text stays text and scans keep their resolution.
Preview
The thumbnails show how the pages will look once saved.
No sign-up
The tool works right away; no account needed.
Files are not kept
The source and the result are deleted from the server automatically after an hour.
When you need it
Rotation rescues documents that landed in the PDF the wrong way round:
- a scanner or copier fed a sheet sideways or upside down;
- phone photos of documents were saved in landscape;
- a report mixes portrait and landscape pages;
- every page must face the same way before printing;
- a file for signing or sending should open correctly straight away.
Rotate or mirror
Rotation spins the page around its centre — that is how sideways and upside-down scans are fixed. Mirroring flips the image as in a mirror: you need it when a page was photographed through glass or saved reversed and the text reads right to left. Both can be combined on one page, and the thumbnail shows the outcome before you save.
How it is saved
The tool writes the rotation angle into the PDF page's properties (just as Acrobat and other editors do) and leaves the content — text, vector graphics, images — alone. The file loses no quality and barely changes in size, and the text can still be selected and searched. Mirroring, unlike rotation, is applied to the page content itself.
