Why delete pages from a PDF
A blank sheet left by the scanner, a draft that slipped into the final file, a page with someone else's details — removing them is easier than rebuilding the document. Upload the PDF, tick the pages you do not need on the thumbnails or list their numbers, and get the same file without them. Everything else — text, links, the layout of the remaining pages — stays as it was.
How to delete pages from a PDF
- 1
Upload the PDF — it opens as a grid of page thumbnails.
- 2
Tick the pages to remove by clicking them, or type their numbers: 2-4, 7.
- 3
Check how many pages will remain — the counter is shown at the bottom.
- 4
Click Delete and download the PDF without the extra pages.
What this tool does
Pick by thumbnail
Every page is visible in full, so you never have to guess which number the blank sheet has.
Number ranges
Type 1-3, 8, 12-15 and all the listed pages are selected at once.
No traces
The remaining pages are carried over as they are: text, images and quality are untouched.
Long documents
Thumbnails load as you scroll, so even hundreds of pages open quickly.
Safety net
You cannot delete every page — at least one always stays in the document.
Password-protected files
If the PDF is encrypted, enter the password and work with it like any other file.
No sign-up
The tool works right away; no account needed.
Files are not kept
The source and the result are deleted from the server automatically after an hour.
When you need it
Deleting pages saves the day when a file is almost ready but carries something extra:
- the scanner inserted blank sheets between pages;
- draft or outdated versions ended up in the document;
- pages with personal data must go before you send the file;
- you only need part of a long manual — delete the rest;
- a merged file contains duplicate pages.
Delete or extract?
If you need to drop a few pages and keep many, delete. If it is the other way round — two or three pages out of a long document — it is quicker to tick them in Extract Pages: it keeps the selected pages and drops everything else. Both tools work the same way, through thumbnails and number ranges.
What happens to the other pages
The tool does not redraw the document; it builds a new PDF from the pages you keep. Fonts, vector graphics, links and selectable text are preserved. The file shrinks roughly in proportion to the pages removed, especially when they were heavy scans.
