File Retention & Deletion
General Principles
PDF Boss stores uploaded files and processing results only for the time necessary to perform the operation and download the result. We do not keep files longer than necessary.
Retention Periods
For unregistered users, files are automatically deleted 1 hour after processing. For registered users (Free) β after 1 hour. For Pro users β after 24 hours. These periods may be changed.
Automatic Deletion
The system automatically deletes files when the set period expires. Deletion is irreversible β files cannot be recovered after deletion.
Manual Deletion
If manual deletion is available in the interface, you can delete a file before the set period without waiting for automatic deletion.
What We Don't Store
We do not save the content of your files for analysis, model training or any other purpose other than directly performing the operation you selected.
Storage Security
While stored, files are protected by the security measures described on the Security & Data Protection page. Only the user who uploaded them has access to the files.
